Cyber5050 is a collaborative partnership between FW, CyberCX, the Australian Women in Security Network, the Australian Services Union and the Canberra Institute of Technology.

The success of the Cyber Accelerator

To date, more than 300 women have entered the program, with all participants reporting significant benefit in working in and/or moving into the cybersecurity industry, which historically has been male-dominated.

Due to overwhelming demand, enrolments in the Cyber Accelerator are now closed.

However, the Cyber Accelerator is based on FW's existing Platinum+ Emerging Leaders Program, which is open for enrolments. Women who missed out on the Cyber Accelerator may be interested in that program, which is designed to enhance three characteristics needed to be a successful leader: confidence, capability and connections.

What is in the program?

The Cyber Accelerator is a 12-month, self-paced online program that helps women and gender diverse people build confidence, leadership, and communication skills. The program also offers networking opportunities tailored to participants working in male-dominated fields.
