When polled during a recent FW Mini Masterclass, members overwhelmingly rated their confidence in networking at two or three out of ten. If you can relate, we are here to tell you that building a professional community doesn’t mean you have to endure forced small talk with people you will never see again. 

“I really hate the word ‘networking’, so I would use ‘making connections’ as an alternative, and that might immediately help those of you that are rubbish at it start to reframe it. It’s really just connecting to people and hearing from other people,” says Helen McCabe.
