Gail retired as CEO of the Westpac Group in February 2015, which marked the culmination of her 35-year executive career in banking. She currently holds several international roles: Senior Global Adviser to UBS, Director of Singapore Telecommunications, Member of each of the Group of Thirty, Bretton Woods Committee, McKinsey Advisory Council, PLuS Alliance Advisory Board and Optus Advisory Committee.  She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of New South Wales, Director of Australian Philanthropic Services, and Ambassador for Women’s Empowerment at CARE Australia.
