It’s not every day you get to interview someone a kilometre underground but for Indigenous woman and single mother of two Chantelle Hamilton, this is daily life.

Chantelle works full-time in an underground gold mine in Orange in rural New South Wales as part of the service crew maintaining equipment and machinery.
