What is the Future Women Jobs Academy and how can I apply?
Jobs Academy is a free, year long, virtual program designed to help women find a job and build a secure, rewarding career. Members of Jobs Academy join a supportive community of Australian women and gain the confidence, capabilities and connections you need to secure future employment. Is there a student discount?
Our Red membership is deliberately set at $49 per year and can be paid on a monthly basis to cater for students and anyone on a tight budget. As a team of journalists, we passionately believe in the importance of producing quality content and your membership fees are supporting ambitious female journalism.
We know a successful mentoring relationship depends on a personal connection between the mentor and mentee. Our closed Facebook group advertises mentor/mentee opportunities and the Members Directory is your Rolodex to all members. We encourage you to reach out to anyone you think might be suitable. We also host regular small group mentoring sessions Platinum members. These are practical sessions designed to empower you to take your next steps.
Future Women is a club for people of all genders and we encourage everyone to join and attend events. FW is for men who want to learn, who know when to be silent and simply listen, and who realise that gender equality doesn’t just benefit women but benefits everyone. We welcome the men who want to be part of building a fairer and better world.
