Millions of women around the globe united by social media to stand up and speak out against sexual assault and harassment in the workplace, the home and the street.

#MeToo has shattered Hollywood heavyweights and transfixed the global media landscape, but in Australia it has polarised and challenged every step of the way, causing many within the movement to question whether it was all worth it.

Why hasn’t it worked in Australia and what is its future?

Future Women invites you to a robust panel discussion on the pitfalls and challenges #MeToo has faced in Australia and what it’s future holds in this country. The panel will be hosted by ABC journalist Ashleigh Raper, with guest panellists including; Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins, Former Labor MP Emma Husar, Sydney Morning Herald investigative journalist Kate McClymont and Ashurst Partner Robert Todd, who specialises in technology, defamation and media/entertainment.

Enjoy a two-course dinner with matching wines, and hear from the voices who are on the front lines of the movement in Australia.

General Admission: $230 per ticket

Table of 8: $1,615.40

Special thanks to Ashurst
